Hi. I’m Ikiea Sherry and welcome to my website! I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, who is partnering with God to write content that inspires and encourages others on their healing journeys. I’m a writer, author, poet, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. Although I wear many hats, one of my most treasured roles is being a healing journey advocate. I’m passionate about seeing others healed. For over 15 years, I have received support and encouragement from counselors, friends, mentors, and others as I walk my healing journey. Healing journeys can be long and lonely sometimes and I want to be a trusted friend to walk with others on their healing journeys. I want this site to be a place for you to find helpful content and connect with a relatable healing community to move you along your healing journey.

Working through these areas has given me declarations to live by that have kept me committed to my healing work. They remind me that the pain of my life has not been wasted. My inner healing work has helped me to release unforgiveness and vengeance regarding past hurts, pain, shame caused by others in my life.
I don’t have to live as a victim.

My inner healing work has allowed me to find powerful ways to articulate my life experiences and healing journey through writing, journaling, and sharing my story with others.
I found my voice and a place to use it.

My inner healing work has given me a purpose for my life instead of focusing on past pain and hurts, I can be an advocate for others on their healing journeys.

My inner healing work has given me freedom from the bondage of shame, pain, addiction, and unforgiveness that I was trapped in from my past hurts and experiences. I’m on a road of healthy self-discovery and self-acceptance.

THE TRUE VINE
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
